I've recently switched from Ubuntu Linux to MacOS Mojave on my Macbook Air. This was in part because I needed more disk space on the Mac partition, and in part because I'm now subscribed to the Adobe Creative Cloud Photographer's package which includes Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge.
